In the summer of 2003, several small Episcopal parishes near Boston -- each dealing individually with the challenges of time, staff, and money -- came together to share their stories and struggles.  Since then they have come to know each other as friends and fellow laborers in the vineyard, they have shared worship and programs, and they have explored ways of maximizing their resources together.  They continue working together with great enthusiasm, knowing that their partnership will help them serve God and each other far better than they could alone.  They meet regularly to share ideas and continue to learn about each other as people and as parishes.

The group formed now is known as "Parishes in Partnership" and includes:

Christ Church, Somerville

Christ Church, Waltham

Church of the Good Shepherd, Watertown

Parish of the Messiah, Auburndale

St. Luke's & St. Margaret's, Allston

Parishes in Partnership is also affiliated with:
