Sunday School                            Now enrolling for 2008

Our Sunday School program and infant care programs take place year-round at 10:30 AM during the Sunday service, with children joining the rest of the congregation for the Eucharist. Children are always welcome to join us for Sunday School or to stay "upstairs" with their parents for the Sunday service.

Weekly lessons focus on selected Bible stories taken from "Living the Good News" curriculum and include special hands-on activities or crafts related to the lesson. Children then join their parents and the congregation at the altar during Holy Communion. All infants and children invited to join us at Sunday School. There are always at least two adults with the children, and infant care is provided by a certified childcare professional.

Interfaith Families
Many of us at Messiah are in interfaith families. Our Sunday School honors and respects other faiths while teaching children about Christianity.  If you'd like to know more about Messiah as a safe place for interfaith families, please contact our rector, Devin McLachlan, at rector@parishofthemessiah.org.
