Visiting
Wondering what to expect when you visit Messiah? You will be welcomed into a loving community, ready to accept you as you are. If going to church is a new experience for you, don’t worry – you are not alone. All of us have been new to a church at some point in our lives, and many of us were not raised in the Episcopal church. Here are some basics that will help make your visit to Messiah easier.
Parking
Parking beside the church is easily accessed using the marked entrance along Commonwealth Avenue . Street parking also is available on Auburn Street or on the carriage road on Commonwealth Avenue .
What to wear
We have no dress code at Messiah. Some adults may be dressed informally, while others may wear a dress or skirt or suit and tie. You may see a child in jeans and yet another in a dress with her favorite sparkly flip-flops. We want you to wear what is comfortable for you.
Our Sunday service
The Sunday service starts at 10:30 AM and finishes by 11:40 AM. Usually 30 adults gather for the service, plus as many as 10 children head downstairs to Sunday School. Children rejoin their parents during “The Peace.”
Save the Date Join us for these coming events
Everyone is invited to join us at
10:30 AM for our regular Sunday
service. We would welcome the

our worship with you.
